A Lovely Day for a Walk

One sunny, brisk fall afternoon in early November, me, Lizzie, and Emily decided to brave the wilds of Collina d'Oro and walk the Percorso Vita. This path, made famous to elementary school teachers by Sharon Creech's book, Bloomability, proved to be even more beautiful than we realized. I hope you enjoy the fall colors as much as I did!

Throughout the Percorso Vita there are exercise stations. Lizzie tried to do this one, but her motor coordination just wouldn't allow it.

I gave the bars a try, but I was only able to do one...because I jumped. BUT, I will be fit before the wedding (promise Mom).

We were walking through a wooded portion, then we exited the woods and saw....

...this beautiful view of Lago di Lugano!

An abandonded sanitorium at the top of the mountain...maybe this is where we should house the elementary school....

Lizzie liked the sheep...that is until they started mounting each other :0

I haven't read Bloomability. I'll have to find it now that I know you have been here!

Oh, and Karen will be very happy that you put up some more posts! :)

First off, its an "Arena" not a "Stadium". You left out two very important parts of the story, who was the other team and who won. I'm glad you cultured yourself by going to at least one sporting event while you were there. Have fun.
